Garv Guests on The Forgotten Filmcast
Hello out there in Internet-land,
One of my favorite things in the world are podcasts. My mp-3 player is constantly filled with movie-related talk to get me through my daily commute or to fill the hours during a long car trip. While I’ve long been a voracious consumer of podcasts, I never imagined that I might ever appear on one. That changed recently when Todd Liebenow of the Forgotten Films blog invited me to guest on his Forgotten Filmcast.
Todd’s film blog focuses on the movies that time forgot, and each episode of his podcast takes a look at an individual “forgotten film” with the help of a rotating group of fellow film bloggers and podcasters. I’m honored to join the list of illustrious alumni that have joined Todd on his show. Below is my very first podcast appearance, so adjust your expectations accordingly, as Todd and I discuss Abbott and Costello’s Who Done It? (1942).
On this episode of the Forgotten Filmcast, we examine a film from a classic comedy team. Join Todd as he welcomes William Garver from It Came from the Bottom Shelf to discuss Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in the 1942 film Who Done It?

P.S. — I regret not mentioning that much of my behind-the-scenes knowledge of A&C comes from Bob Furmanek and Ron Palumbo’s unmatched book on the team, Abbott and Costello in Hollywood
. Unfortunately, the title is currently out-of-print. It greatly deserves a new release in both print and eBook form.
