Garv’s Pick of the Week: Hell is for Heroes [Blu-ray/ Kino Lorber]: This 1962 World War II action film has developed a bit of a cult following due to its eclectic cast and creative use of a low budget. Don Siegel directs Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Bobby Darin, Fess Parker, Nick Adams, Harry Guardino, and Bob Newhart. Newhart even gets to do a variation on his one-sided phone conversation stand-up. The video should look better than ever, as this Blu-ray was mastered from a new 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative.
