2K Restoration of Our Hospitality (1923) Coming From Kino Lorber
It’s a great time to be a Buster Keaton fan! Lobster Films has been performing immaculate restoration work on the comedian’s silent features, and the new, freshened up versions have been receiving regular releases on Blu-ray. So far, Cohen Film Collection has released The Buster Keaton Collection: Volume 1 (The General / Steamboat Bill, Jr.) and The Buster Keaton Collection: Volume 2 (Sherlock Jr. / The Navigator); and The Buster Keaton Collection: Volume 3 (Seven Chances / Battling Butler) is due out on August 20th.
Well, it appears that one Keaton classic slipped through Cohen’s fingers, because Kino Classics announced that they will release the Lobster Films’ 2K restoration of Our Hospitality (1923) on Blu-ray on October 15th. Here’s the announcement from Kino Lorber’s Facebook page:
