Scream Factory July Titles
Shout! Factory’s horror sub-label, Scream Factory, announced three upcoming titles for July, including the classic, The Leopard Man, from legendary producer Val Lewton and master director Jacques Tourneur.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**
We have no jokes today on April Fool’s Day, but three legit announcements instead! First up: The Val Lewton classic THE LEOPARD MAN stalks it way to Blu-ray for the first time on July 16th.
Is it man, beast or both behind a string of savage maulings and murders? An escaped leopard provides the catalyst for a foray into fear in which a cemetery is the rendezvous for death and love, and a closed door heightens rather than hides the horror of a young girl’s fate. The Leopard Man once again teams producer Val Lewton with director Jacques Tourneur (Cat People). This thriller stars Dennis O’Keefe (T-Men, Raw Deal), Margo (Lost Horizon) and Jean Brooks (The Seventh Victim).

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**
Our second title reveal is also in the feline-vein: The often-requested made-for-TV film STRAYS scratches its way to Blu-ray for the first time on July 16th.
Paul (Timothy Busfield, thirtysomething) and Lindsey Jarrett (Kathleen Quinlan, Twilight Zone: The Movie) buy a remote country home, unaware of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the former owner’s death. Convinced the house is the perfect place to raise their daughter, the young couple settles in, little suspecting that their dream home is surrounded by an uncontrollable feral cat population. But before they can call Animal Control, a cat marks their bedroom as his territory … and Lindsey finds herself and her child terrorized by swarms of cats in the midst of a punishing rainstorm. Paul returns to find his house in chaos and must battle the malevolent felines for possession of his home and family in this spine-tingling chiller directed by award-winning cinematographer John McPherson (Amazing Stories) and written by producer/pop star/actor Shaun Cassidy (The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries).

***New HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP (1980) Steelbook! ***
The Alien-meets-Jaws-meets-Creature from the Black Lagoon cult classic from 1980 is now officially a “Scream Factory”-branded title as we present it in a new Blu-ray Steelbook® packaging! Swimming its way this Summer. Read on for more details:
• Official street date is July 30th for U.S. and Canada territories (Region A).
• We are preparing a new 4K scan of the uncut international version of the film from the original camera negative. All bonus features from the prior Blu-ray release will be ported over as well.
• Only 5,000 units of the steelbook are being produced total. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
• The artwork you see pictured on both come to us from by artist Laz Marquez (who also illustrated our prior steelbooks The Howling, Lifeforce and Army of Darkness). If you order directly from our site though, your packaging will also include an exclusive 28.5” x 16.5” rolled lithograph of the illustration. (The litho will not be available elsewhere and only 1,500 of them each are being made).
