A 3-D Western by Douglas Sirk?
Greetings, triple dimension enthusiasts,
While television manufacturers have decided that 3-D TV is dead, Kino Lorber Studio Classics and the 3-D Film Archive continue to support film fans with 3-D Blu-ray setups. Their next extra dimensional release is a new restoration of “melodrama master” Douglas Sirk’s 1954 Western, Taza, Son of Cochise.
I had no idea that Douglas Sirk made a Western. Nor did I know that he ever dabbled in the “comin’ at you” format. While I don’t personally have a 3-D setup, I am curious about this release for the novelty of it all (and the 2-D version will be included).
