Charlie Chaplin Days 2021 Online June 25-27
Since 1979, The Niles Film Museum has been celebrating Charlie Chaplin Days in the historic district of Niles, in Fremont, California, where Chaplin made a handful of films for the Essanay Film Company. This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festivities are relocating online (via ZOOM, YouTube, and other apps) from Friday, June 25th to Sunday, June 27th. All of the panel presentations are free, as are almost all of the films.
Most of the links to the films and presentations will not be live until 12:01 AM on the day of each event, so you will need to go to the show page at nilesfilmmuseum.org to access the fun. You can also go to the show page now to view the list of upcoming events.
By the way, if you’re on Facebook, you can set mark yourself as interested in the event HERE to receive a reminder.
