Garv’s Pick of the Week: Horror Express (Arrow Video)
For the release week of February 12th:
Garv’s Pick of the Week:Horror Express [Blu-ray / Arrow Video]
: One of the most enjoyable team-ups of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee is this Euro-horror, from Spanish filmmaker Eugenio Martin, about a creature stalking the Trans-Siberian Express bound for Moscow. Telly Savalas also has a scene-stealing supporting role as a Cossack cop. Arrow’s Blu-ray gives the title a fresh 2k transfer from the original negative, which is reportedly a big improvement over the previous Severin release.
