Garv’s Pick of the Week: V for Vendetta 4K UHD (Warner Brothers)

For the release week of November 3rd:

Garv’s Pick of the Week: V for Vendetta [4K UHD / Warner Brothers]: I wonder if somebody at Warner Brothers was trying to send a message by scheduling the 4K UHD release of V for Vendetta (2006) on election day.  I’m probably reading too much into this.  It’s likely scheduled this week, because it’s the nearest release date to the 5th of November, Guy Fawkes Day (which figures prominently in the film).  Still, it’s strangely appropriate.

Additional Titles of Interest —

The Shepherd of the Hills [Blu-ray / Kino Lorber]: Henry Hathaway directed John Wayne’s first color film, a melodrama set in the Ozarks.
