Indicator January 2019 Releases
Indicator, a boutique British video label from Powerhouse Films, has announced their four upcoming Blu-ray releases for January, including the U.K. release of Dennis Hopper’s notorious The Last Movie, which is available in the U.S. from Arbelos Films
.
Although these are being released in the U.K., the other three titles are listed as Region Free, so they will play in Blu-ray players worldwide. Usually, Indicator’s titles are eventually available through Amazon, DiabolikDVD and other U.S.retailers.
Below are the details directly from the Indicator email newsletter and website:
R.P.M. (Stanley Kramer, 1970)
The films of director Stanley Kramer (Ship of Fools, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?) reflected social and political concerns of their time and tackled controversial subjects head on. The little-seen 1970 feature R.P.M., set amidst the turmoil of late-60s anti-war student protests, is no exception.
As activists seize control of a California college, a free-thinking, anti-establishment college professor (Anthony Quinn) finds himself in a precarious position when he’s invested as University President and must decide between restoring order or sanctioning a descent into anarchy.
