Greaser’s Palace is Coming to Blu-ray
Scorpion Releasing announced today that they will release Greaser’s Palace (1972), Robert Downey Sr.’s absurdist comedy/religious allegory on Blu-ray in May. The weirdo cult movie stars Allan Arbus as a zoot suit wearing “song and dance man” named Jesse (the Jesus figure) who rides into an old Western town run by Greaser (Albert Henderson), a perpetually constipated saloon owner, and begins to heal the sick and raise the dead.
