Sergio Leone Westerns Blu-ray Box Set Coming March 10th

Sergio Leone Westerns Blu-ray Box Set Coming March 10th

Few films have been released more times on video than Sergio Leone’s Westerns.  Still, it is welcome news that Kino Lorber Studio Classics will release all five films — A Fistful of Dollars; For a Few Dollars More; The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly; Once Upon a Time in the West; and A Fistful of Dynamite — in a single, “shelf space-saving,” Blu-ray box set.  These films (at least the first four) are universally regarded as the absolute best of the Euro-Western genre.  If you haven’t picked them up already, here is a perfect opportunity to pull the trigger.

Here is the release announcement from the Kino Lorber Studio Classics Facebook Page:

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST (1968) is considered by most to be Leone’s second masterpiece and at the time, his most ambitious film. A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE aka DUCK, YOU SUCKER (1971) was the maestro’s final epic western starring Rod Steiger, James Coburn and Romolo Valli.

All five films in this collection feature classic scores by legendary composer, Ennio Morricone (Navajo Joe, Death Rides a Horse, The Sicilian Clan, The Hateful Eight) and are loaded with Special Features.
