This Gun For Hire (1942) Coming to Blu-ray
Shout! Factory’s prestige sub-label, Shout Select, has announced that they will release the first pairing of Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake, This Gun for Hire (1942) on Blu-ray on April 9th. This disc will join Shout Select’s previous releases of the Lake/Ladd teamings The Blue Dahlia (1942) and The Glass Key (1946). Of the Lake/Ladd films, only the lesser-known and lesser-loved Saigon (1948) will lack an HD release.
