IT CAME FROM THE BOTTOM SHELF!

Twilight Time has announced their January 2019 Blu-ray slate, including the first “must own” title for the new year — the new, extended restoration of Beat the Devil (1953).  This alternative version of the film is actually the complete International cut, with four additional minutes of footage and a different sequencing of some scenes versus the familiar, censored U.S. cut.  This longer version was the original vision of director John Huston and writer Truman Capote, but it has never before been released on home video in any format.

At this point, it is unknown whether there will be any audio commentaries or other special features on any of the January titles.

These limited edition titles will be exclusive to www.twilighttimemovies.comand www.screenarchives.com, but they won’t be available for preorder until much closer to the release date of January 22nd.
