Two Douglas Fairbanks 1916 Westerns Coming to Blu-ray
This is a great time to be a silent movie fan. It seems that we receive daily announcements of newly restored silent films, which eventually make their way to DVD and/or Blu-ray.
This week, Kino Lorber announced that they will put out a double-feature of two silent Westerns from 1916 on a single Blu-ray on May 1st. Both films, The Half-Breed and The Good Bad Man, feature early action/comedy star Douglas Fairbanks, and both were directed by Allan Dwan (who later went on to direct Fairbanks in Robin Hood and The Iron Mask).
