There is very exciting news.  Indicator, a boutique British video label from Powerhouse Films, has announced two upcoming Blu-ray releases for October, encompassing 5 films, and these limited edition box sets include highly prized titles from horror auteurs Jacques Tourneur and William Castle.  Plus, the essential Night of the Demon release includes four separate versions of the film!

Although these are being released in the U.K., all of the titles are listed as Region Free, so they will play in Blu-ray players worldwide. Usually, Indicator’s titles are eventually available through Amazon, DiabolikDVD and other U.S. retailers.

Based on M R James’ classic tale of terror, ‘Casting the Runes’, and adapted for the screen by regular Hitchcock collaborator Charles Bennett, Jacques Tourneur’s (Cat People, I Walked with a Zombie, Out of the Past) Night of the Demon is considered to be one of the seminal horror films of Twentieth-Century cinema. Released on Blu-ray for the very first time in the UK, the film is presented here in four different versions, and is accompanied by an incredible array of new and archival special features. Also includes a Limited Edition exclusive double-sided poster and 80-page book.
