Vincent Price Collection Re-release

If you missed Scream Factory’s original Vincent Price Collection Blu-ray box set before it went out of print, you have a new opportunity to add it to your collection. The label announced yesterday that they would re-release the box set, albeit with slightly revised content. This is tremendous news, because the greatest horror film of all time, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, will be back in print in the U.S.
One note for collectors that already own the original box set — You may be interested in the standalone release of The Masque of the Red Death that is mentioned below, since an alternative cut will be included.

**RE-ISSUE ANNOUNCEMENT**
Several years ago, we had to take the first volume of THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION out of circulation due to rights issues that came up after its original release in 2013. Today we are pleased to bring it back in a slightly modified form!
THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION (RE-ISSUE) Blu-ray is slated for release on Sept 22nd. It will include all the same films on the prior release – The Pit and The Pendulum, The Haunted Palace, House of Usher, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Witchfinder General and The Masque of the Red Death.
The vintage introductions that were on the prior release of original set, unfortunately, have had to be removed. However, we will be adding some new extras to this new re-issue set and will be announced on a later date.
THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH will now contain the two cuts of the film, one version longer with more footage. We will also be releasing the title on its own on Sept 22nd featuring both cuts so that fans of the film can purchase it if they choose so without having to buy the entire Collection again.
